Volocopter’s flying taxi, VoloCity, known in the industry as an eVTOL aircraft (electric vertical take-off and landing) is being show cased at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. VoloCity flights at the air show are wowing audiences, giving them a futuristic glimpse of our skies. The VoloCity is a stark contrast from the rest being so quiet and of course being electric, it creates zero in-flight emissions.
Mediapro’s regular media training sessions with Volocopter’s top executives over the past two years is paying dividends. The German based company’s unashamedly stolen the limelight and attracting outstanding positive global news and social media coverage. They’re sticking to their safety messaging and promoting the Volocity’s versatility in an urban environment. Massive amounts of coverage that’s credible and free. Result!
Volocopter’s on track to be the first in the world to achieve European Union Aviation Safety Agency certification to enable it to provide flying taxis throughout the Paris Olympics next year. It will launch its commercial electric air taxis in the French capital soon after…. and hard on the heels of those ‘vertiport’ openings there will be others… across Europe, Singapore, and Neom in Saudi Arabia.
