Media training flurry up to Christmas and beyond

Mediapro’s media training courses are as busy as ever with regular clients like Anglian Water and Greene King and new clients – which include a well-established housing and homeless charity, an NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, a multinational crop chemical company and a national PR agency. Looks like we’ll be keeping busy well into the first quarter of 2016. Just as we like it!

Tribute to a global legend
We’re saddened by All Black rugby legend Jonah Lomu’s sudden death at the age of 40. At the height of Jonah’s fame – Mediapro trainer and former BBC Newsround Down Under Correspondent Maria Veronese – spent the day filming with him in Auckland, New Zealand.

“It was a tongue in cheek piece about Jonah’s passion off the field. I was heavily pregnant and felt as wide as Jonah was tall… so you’ll notice the item doesn’t show my waist or the two of us together. He was a gentleman throughout and a great laugh,” Maria recalls.

“The crew and I had a brilliant time with him. Fame hadn’t gone to his head. Instead, he used it to raise awareness and money for issues close to his heart, like UNICEF and Kidney Kids NZ.” See how Jonah broke wacky world records in the story below:
