Shoot, edit and upload from smart phones

It’s been a crazy busy summer for the Mediapro team. One course that has really taken off is our Broadcasting Skills Workshop. We’ve been teaching delegates how to shoot, edit and upload professional looking clips from their smart phones.

“It’s a cost effective way of making news clips and instruction videos for departments like marketing and health and safety. Once delegates learn top tips and short cuts from our news broadcasters, they really enjoy it, and find it easy to create their own good quality clips,” says Mediapro’s Manager Justin Cohu.

Investing in practical training with news journalists who work in the industry saves having to pay to have expensive corporate videos made. It also means our clients can easily edit and update their own videos as they wish.

“What our trainers enjoy most is seeing each delegate’s confidence grow. Some have been really creative, and because they know their industry best, the videos they’ve been making for internal and external use, have been excellent.”

All of Mediapro’s trainers are news journalists. When they’re not media training they’re doing interviews, scripting, editing and live outside broadcasts. Here are a few shoots they’ve recently taken out on the road…
